Job Requirements:

​

All team members must..

-Be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week

-Have the ability to perform tasks associated with cleaning, including standing for long periods of time, walking up and down stairs, lifting 25 pounds, kneeling, and bending repeatedly.

-Be comfortable working around cats & dogs

-Have a phone with a data plan & texting/calling capabilities (clock-in/out on our app, use gps to get to jobs, etc.)

-Pass a background check

-Have a valid driver’s license

-Have reliable transportation and vehicle insurance

 

-Hours you can expect-

Most team members start out with about 15 hours and work your way up. The better & faster you get, the more hours you can get.
 

Cleaners can clean 1-2 houses per day usually scheduled at 9-9:30am and 12:30-1pm.
 

-Training-

Each new team member will be provided with all the supplies required for the job and 40 hours of training time. 
 

After training, cleaners are expected to be able to clean on their own or on a team. Quality checks will be performed by management until timing & details are perfected.

Team members are evaluated for raises every 6 months. Raises are based on attendance and job performance and are not guaranteed

​

-Dress Code-
Wear whatever you are comfortable in as long as it is neat and clean. Some type of close-toed, slip-resistant, waterproof shoes are recommended. You will be cleaning walk in showers and your shoes will get wet. A lot of the cleaners wear crocs but its not a requirement. We will provide you with 2 company shirts. They are recommended but not required.

-Attendance Policy-
We expect all team members to be consistently reliable and punctual. Working all scheduled hours is a requirement of the job. Absenteeism and tardiness place a burden on other team members and our clients. If you cannot avoid being late to work or are unable to work as scheduled, you must personally notify us as soon as you know you will be absent or late.

The following scenarios will result in disciplinary action and/or termination:

  • No-call-no-shows. We have zero tolerance for no-call-no-shows.

  • Excessive Absence - when the number of unapproved absences exceeds six (6) working days in any twelve (12) month period, and/or three (3) working days in any three (3) month period.

  • Excessive Tardiness - When a team member is late more than two (2) times within any rolling thirty (30) day period.
    *Individuals with disabilities may be granted reasonable accommodation in compliance with these policies if undue hardship does not result to Clean as a Mother’s operations. However, regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each team member’s essential job functions*

     

-Zenmaid-
Team members are required to
 download the Zenmaid app on their phone. This is how cleaners will clock-in/out, see their schedule, see info about clients and cleanings, leave notes when needed, etc.

 

-Constructive Feedback-
We ask for feedback after every cleaning so we know how we’re doing. We rely on our clients to point out things we miss so we can be sure not to miss it again in the future. Listening to feedback is how we become rock star cleaners ✨ It's important not to take complaints personally and see them as an opportunity to sharpen your skills. We all must be able to listen to and accept feedback, it's a major part of the job.
 

-People skills-
Team members will often get assigned to the same client so they can get to know the home and client’s preferences well. Some clients will be home during the cleaning. Being kind and friendly with the client goes a long way in gaining their trust and ensures them their home is in good hands.
